Astronomy on Tap Seattle II: April 22nd at Bad Jimmy’s

Our second event in Seattle will be on April 22nd from 7-9 pm and will be presented by graduate students in astronomy at the University of Washington. We’re thrilled to be hosted by Ballard’s own Bad Jimmy’s who will have ~9 beers (and plenty of astronomy) on tap.

THIS MONTH we’ll begin with beer and two new talks by graduate students Michael Tremmel on “Supermassive Black Holes: Size Matters”, and Russell Deitrick on “AoT Meets GoT: Reasons for the (extreme) Seasons” on the recently classified “Game of Thrones” planet – you’d better believe winter is coming. Then, we’ll play some astrotrivia with (tasty) prizes.

Don’t miss our second event, and be sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook to get updates on future events!

Please RSVP on our eventbrite page.
