Astronomy on Tap Seattle VIII: October 28th at Bad Jimmy’s

Our eighth event in Seattle will be on October 28th from 7-9 pm and will again be hosted by Ballard’s own Bad Jimmy’s who will have ~9 beers (and plenty of astronomy) on tap.

THIS MONTH we’ll begin with beer and two new talks. The first is by AoT Austin organizer and post-doctoral fellow at the University of Texas at Austin Dr. Rachael Livermore on “The First Galaxies, Revealed by Einstein’s Telescopes.”  Our second talk will be by University of Washington graduate student Eddie Schwieterman on “Life-signs and Biosignatures: How will we find life beyond the Solar System?” Then, we’ll play some (spooky) astrotrivia with prizes!

Don’t miss our eighth event, and be sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook to get updates on future events!

Please RSVP on our eventbrite page.
