This month, #SpaceDrafts is with Dr. David O’Brien (PSI):
Dawn’s Exploration of Dwarf Planet Ceres
Join Dave & Dawn on an journey to that other Dwarf Planet in our solar system: Ceres! The largest member of the asteroid belt, Ceres is round under it’s own gravity, is differentiated, and emits water vapor, much like a terrestrial planet, but it’s orbit is inclined, and looks like other families of asteroids. It’s a unique look at conditions during the formation of our solar system!
Answer Dave’s tricky questions for a shot at cool prizes – we’ll have telescopes setup outside at sunset if it is clear!
Wednesday, February 24th, 7.00pm (Stargazing starts at Sunset)
Please. Thank you!
As always, Space Drafts is FREE and open to all ages! Bring your four-legged friends too!
