For April we have three awesome talks lined up:

The Future of Telescopes in SPAAAAACE!
The Notorious L.A.E. (aka Dr. Steve Finkelstein) is back to tell us about future space telescopes, including WFIRST.

Witnessing the Birth of Stars Using Heat Vision
Chaos Cloud (aka Rebecca Larson) will discuss her work on stellar birth using infrared observations (including some from the Herschel Space Observatory).

Life From Lifelessness: Terraforming Planets
Biologists Blake Rolland and Eric Cuellar will discuss the best way to terraform planets for human colonization.

    • Our monthly events take place on the 3rd Tuesday of every month (except in March due to SXSW) and are posted on this site and on Facebook at least 2 weeks in advance (and often even earlier).
