AoT-Tucson #35: Rocky Worlds Rock!!

This month, #SpaceDrafts (Tucson’s local flavor of Astronomy on Tap) will rock!

Climate Science… on Mars & The Rocky Worlds of TESS!!

You think Arizona summers are extreme? Join LPL grad, Jonathan Bapst, to learn about the climate on Mars. It’s a dry cold! Then, join PSI scientist and prodigious observer, Gil Esquerdo (yes, he has an asteroid named after him), to learn about the successor to the incredible Kepler Mission: NASA’s Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite – TESS, and how we’re going to find tens of rocky worlds like Earth!

April 26th, 7pm, at the Borderlands Brewing Company (119 E. Toole Ave, Tucson AZ)
