On Thursday August 31st 2017, Astronomy on Tap celebrates the 30th anniversary of Star Trek: The Next Generation with a screening of STAR TREK: FIRST CONTACT, followed by a presentation by AoT ATX co-founder and Host Star Remnant Dr. Rachael Livermore on the science in the movie.
The screening will be held at the brand new Alamo Drafthouse Mueller, which features new reclining seats and a full bar and restaurant with service to your seat during the movie.
Tickets for this event cost $11.64 and will be available through the Alamo Drafthouse website. These events have reserved seating and space is limited, but if you are unable to attend in person you can catch the post-movie talks on the AoTATX YouTube channel!
