This August, AoTATX35 brings you exciting talks about extragalactic jets, gravitational lensing, and more. Briana Indahl will talk about how she uses McDonald Observatory to study jets from other galaxies; MC high-z (Dr. Racheal Livermore) will talk about gravitational lensing, and why it’s awesome. AoTATX35 will be hosted by our Host Binary Stars, A$AP Rocky Planet (Raquel Martinez) and AstroBoz (Brandon Bozek)! In addition, AoTATX35 will feature Astronomy in the News, trivia, and brand new AoTATX magnets. Finally, we will have telescopes on hand to look for exciting objects in the night sky (weather permitting)! Join us for a night full of astronomy fun over pints of beer!
