Astronomy on Tap ATX #40: January 23, 2017

Rescheduled for Tuesday, January 23, 2018!

This January, we present three exciting talks on kilonova, HETDEX, and white dwarfs! Prof. Quantum (aka. Prof. Karl Gabhardt will bring us up to speed on the recent development of the HETDEX project at McDonald Observatory, studying dark matter and dark energy. Finally, we will have Dr. Barbara Castanheira discuss the seismic activity on white dwarfs!

AoTATX40 will be hosted by our Host Binary Stars, A$AP Rocky Planet (Raquel Martinez) and AstroBoz (Dr. Brandon Bozek)! In addition, AoTATX40 will feature Astronomy in the News, trivia, and AoTATX merchandise. Pueblo Viejo will be opened for tacos!
