What:

Join us to hear about the Gaia mission, a satellite launched by the European Space Agency to map our Milky Way galaxy in 3D. The mission is designed to provide an unprecedented map of the night sky, with new understandings of the position and brightness of the billions of stars that make up the Milky Way.

Who:

The evening is run by the Institute of Astronomy, University of Cambridge. The speakers for the evening will be Matt Bothwell, Simon Hodgkin, and Georgia Busso.

When:

Wednesday, June 6th, 2018, 7:00-9:00pm. Doors open at 6:30pm.
