On November 15th, join us for the first ever Astronomy on Tap event in Las Vegas! Enjoy delicious brews at the newly opened Astronomy Aleworks while hearing about the universe and competing in space-themed trivia! Prepare for trivia questions ranging from science to sci-history to sci-fi.
This event, named “Other Worlds“, UNLV researchers will take you on a journey from Hot Jupiters to Super-Earths to show how astronomers discover exoplanets around other stars. Many of these other worlds are far stranger than the 8 planets in our system.
The event begins at 7 pm for ages 21 and over only. No cover charge, it’s FREE.
