AoT-Tucson #56: Planet Formation & Finding the Farthest Galaxies @ Borderlands Brewing Co. March 27

Tucson’s local flavor of Astronomy on Tap, #SpaceDrafts, presents its 56th edition this March:

The Farthest: How do astronomers look for the First Galaxies?
What we know about Planetary Nurseries?

Join postdocs Dr. Kevin Hainline, Steward Observatory, and Dr. Kamber Schwarz, UA Lunar and Planetary Laboratory, for SpaceDrafts #56! Kevin Hainline will tell us about observing the first galaxies formed after the Big Bang, and Kamber Schwarz will describe the current knowledge of planetary nurseries–dusty disks around young stars.

March 27, 7pm, at the Borderlands Brewing Company (119 E. Toole Ave, Tucson AZ).
