AoT-Tucson #57: Search for Nearby Exo-Earths @ Borderlands Brewing Co. April 24

Tucson’s local flavor of Astronomy on Tap, #SpaceDrafts, presents its 57th edition this April:

Project EDEN The Search for Nearby Exo-Earths

Join Dr. Daniel Apai, associate professor of astronomy and planetary sciences at Steward Observatory, as he describes Project EDEN, the search for habitable planets and life right in our backyard! “By exploring the habitable planets around the stars closest to the Sun Project EDEN aims the search for life in the solar neighborhood and leads to the discovery of planets that are close enough to be studied in details. The planets discovered by EDEN are the closest worlds to us – these will be the planets humankind may send probes or perhaps even visit in the distant future.”- http://project-eden.space

The event is on April 24, 7pm, at the Borderlands Brewing Company (119 E. Toole Ave, Tucson AZ).
