The COSMOS survey is made of a team of dozens of astronomers studied one specific large patch of sky using all sorts of telescopes. They’ll be meeting in NYC this May, and we’re bringing them to Astro on Tap NYC! And not just anyone, but THE top people – all three members of the leadership of COSMOS and the outreach coordinator, the real Captains of the COSMOS! Talks will feature an overview of the project, plus lots of findings from radio astronomy to galaxy mergers to the farthest-away objects we can see.
