Astronomy on Tap Los Angeles: July 22, 2019

Come celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landings with a special Astronomy on Tap. Join us at 7:30PM, Monday, July 22nd at Der Wolfskopf Pub in Pasadena, CA. We’ll hear from Amruta Jaodand: “Rapid Transformers in the Sky,” and Simon Lock: “When Planets Collide: Making Our Moon from the Wreckage.”  In addition, we will host astronomically-themed pub trivia with great space-related prizes for our winners.  Come with your science questions, as there will be many world-renowned astronomers to mingle with between talks!  Lastly, Der Wolfskopf features a special Astronomy on Tap Happy Hour for discount prices on beer and food throughout our event.

The event is free and open to all ages.  Doors open at 4:00PM.  To view our past events, see our location page.  For more information about our future events and affiliated lecture+stargazing series at Caltech, see our website.
