Astronomy on Tap DC: Sep 18, 2019

Astronomy on Tap DC is excited to be returning to DC9 Club for our September edition of AoTDC! Join us on the 2nd floor of the club for this fun filled slate of talks:

How Stars Live and Die – Liz Landau (NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory)

Astronomy on a Rocket – Nick Thomas (NASA Goddard Space Flight Center)

Jupiter Exposed – Rahul Patel (CNA Corporation)

During this very special event, Liz Landau will play a set of space-inspired songs! Throughout the talks, we’ll have Astronomy Bingo where you can win a fun prize.

Following the talks, join us on the rooftop bar for skygazing through telescopes (weather permitting), courtesy of Becca Ljungren and her team of astronomy educators from the Phoebe Waterman Haas Public Observatory of the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum.

Exclusive Astronomy on Tap DC pint glasses and AoTDC T-shirts will be available for a donation.
