AoT Baton Rouge – 14 Nov Varsity Theatre

Welcome to the greatest science talks in all of Baton Rouge! This month we have:

Adrià Delhom

The Big Bang to your Birthday*

You have probably wondered how the hell we got from The Big Bang to the difficult physics tests you had in high school. Physics, Chemistry and Biology can help in answering these questions! In this talk we will try to understand how the early Universe connects with life as we know it today. We will start with the different stages the Universe has undergone nearly after The Big Bang and go into galactic, stellar and planetary formation. Once we understand the formation of our beloved Earth, we will have a brief overview of how life emerged and, eventually, how we ended up here attending this talk.

*Disclaimer: In cosmological time, do not expect great details about your particular birthday.

Eklavya Thareja
