We are sorry to announce that we are canceling our in-person show, originally scheduled for March 24th.
On March 24, join Astronomy on Tap ATX for our 66th event at #AoTATX66! This month we will welcome back Space Rock Star (Jason Achilles), who will open the show with live music! He will also tell us about designing a camera array to record lunar landings! Taylor Hutchison will talk about galaxies and how we get them to reveal their secrets! Finally, Destroyer of Worlds (Dr. Joel Green) will tell us about Astronomy in 3D!
#AoTATX66 will be hosted by our Host Stars, Chaos Cloud (Rebecca Larson) and Deep Space Shine (Dr. Micaela Bagley)! In addition, #AoTATX66 will feature Astronomy News by Whatamerger Jr. (Jackie Champagne) and It’s a TRAPPIST (Danny Krolikowski), trivia, and AoTATX merchandise. Finally, we will have telescopes on hand to look for exciting objects in the night sky (weather permitting)! Join us for a night full of astronomy fun over pints of beer!
As always, AoTATX is FREE and open to all ages, and Pueblo Viejo will be open to purchase tacos! The North Door alley bar opens at 6pm. The show starts at 7:30pm.
