Dr. Efthalia Traianou is a research scientist in the VLBI group at Max Planck Institut für Radioastronomie (MPIfR) in Bonn. She studied Physics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece and recently obtained her Ph.D. in Astronomy at the University of Cologne. Her research focuses chiefly on the imaging and study of relativistic jets launching from super-massive black holes.
