Sc-Fi Universe at the American Museum of Natural History, Thursday October 9

UPDATE: This event has been cancelled. We tried to compete with all the other stuff going on during NY ComicCon, but we didn’t sell enough tickets to cover costs. AMNH are working out refunds for people who bought tickets. We’ll also work with them to have another event soon!

COSMOS screening at Videology! Monday, September 29 at 7 pm

Of course you devoured Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey last spring, but we guarantee you’ve never seen it like this before! On Monday, September 29, interact with the cosmos live at Videology in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with the lovable, irreverent scientists from Astronomy on Tap. Never content to let Neil Tyson have all the glory, we’ll share what we would have done differently (Drunk Astronomy, anyone?), reveal behind-the-scenes secrets, and generally celebrate the fleeting appearance of real science on network TV. Videology has a full bar with wine, draft and bottled beer, and a cocktail menu plus classic movie theater food like popcorn, nachos, pretzels, and hot dogs. And of course we’ll have games, very special prizes, and Astro-tainment radiated by DJ Carly Sagan!
