We’re at The North Door again, back on our usual day of the third Tuesday of the month, on a special day of the month, with 3 awesome talks:

The Sun, Fusion, and Nuclear Warfare
Fun With Chem (aka Dr. Kate Biberdorf) will talk about how the Sun (and nuclear bombs) produce energy, and will also have some live (fire-based) demos.

Dinosaur Death From Space
Dr. Dinosaur Feathers (aka Dr. Julia Clarke) will talk about the big ol’ space rock that was the end of the dinosaurs.

Hunting the Heffalump: An Introduction to Dark Energy
Queen of the Lab (aka Dr. Sarah Tuttle) will talk about the mysterious dark energy that pervades our Universe.
