Detecting Gravitational Waves with Advanced LIGO
Dennis Ugolini, a member of the LIGO Scientific Collaboration, will talk about how they detected mirrors moving less than the width of a proton, due to 2 black holes merging.

Life In the Universe
Joel Green, AoTATX alum and a co-organizer of AoT Baltimore, will discuss how astronomers are searching for life in our own Solar System, throughout our Milky Way Galaxy, and beyond.

SCIWARS: Dark Side Tactics to Fight for Science
Jayde Lovell, from ScIQ on The Young Turks Network, will teach us all how to effectively argue against the anti-science lobby.

Not That Long Ago in a Galaxy Close, Close By
Summer Ash, of Columbia University and Startorialist, will discuss real-life exoplanets that correspond to planets in the Star Wars Universe.
