Join us at 7:30PM, Monday, November 6th at Der Wolfskopf Pub in Pasadena, CA. We’ll hear from Carnegie Observatories scientist, Dr. Cindy Hunt: “100 Years of the 100-Inch Telescope at Mt. Wilson” and from JPL scientist, Dr. Andrés Plazas Malagón: “Dark Energy and the Runaway Universe.” In addition, we will host an astronomically-themed quiz with great space-related prizes for our winners. Come with your science questions, as there will be many world-renowned astronomers to mingle with between talks! In addition, Der Wolfskopf features a special Astronomy on Tap Happy Hour for discount prices on beer and food throughout our event.
