Astronomy on Tap – Lansing – November 2017

Another month, another night of great science and tasty drinks! Come on down to the Loft to learn about how merging neutron stars warp space and make gold and how we measure the signal of the first light in the Universe. We’ll have awesome talks from MSU PhD student Dana Koeppe and visiting PhD student Zac Johnston from Monash University. We’ll also have astronomy-themed raffle prizes, space-based trivia questions, and a great Q&A session with local scientists.

Doors open at 7pm and the event kicks off at 7:30pm. If you’ll be showing up hungry you can grab $2 slices of pizza or bring in a delicious item from one of your favorite Lansing restaurants. As always, this is a FREE event!

Why would you pass up a night of astronomy and beer? We can’t wait to see you!
