Join us at our August event for more drinks, science, and good times. This month we’ll take a journey to Mars with Huei Sears, which will include a discussion of the newest discovery of a “lake” on the red planet! We’ll also get to experience a bit of hands-on science with Dr. Philipp Grete as he shows us how a Raspberry Pi computer can be used to model how supercomputers do astrophysics! We’ll also have a trivia questions, raffle prizes, and a Q&A session with local scientists.
As always, this is a FREE event. Doors will open at 7pm and the event will kick off at 7:30pm. If you’ll be showing up hungry, bring something to eat from one of your go-to Lansing grub joints.
