This November, we will have a special night at our 50th event! Dr. David Guszejnov will tell us about star formation and why statistics matter in the study of star formation. In particular, he will tell about how the masses of stars may be determined by the masses of the star forming cores. Our very own Rebecca Larson will then lead us onto a trip to some of the most distant galaxies and talk about what these galaxies may have to say regarding the evolution of our universe. And in the second half of the event, we will have a special rapid fire talk with fifteen of our best space cadets and associates answering your burning astronomy questions!
AoTATX50 will be hosted by our Host Star, A$AP Rocky Planet (Raquel Martinez) and AstroALee (Dr. Aaron Lee)! In addition, AoTATX50 will feature Astronomy News by Major Merger (Sinclaire Manning) and Astrobit (Dr. Brian W Mulligan), trivia, and AoTATX merchandise. Finally, we will have telescopes on hand to look for exciting objects in the night sky (weather permitting)! Join us for a night full of astronomy fun over pints of beer!
