Join us for the third installment of Astronomy on Tap Baltimore! We will be at De Kleine Duivel in Baltimore, MD, on Wednesday July 31st starting at 7:30 pm. Our events are free and open to the public (ages 21+), but get there early to grab a seat.
Our speakers for the evening will include:
Jules Fowler, with an introduction to and demonstration of coronagraphs and the search for exoplanets;
Arthur Eigenbrot, discussing how the Sun can cause the end of civilization and what the DKI Solar Telescope is doing to stop it;
and Laura Prichard, speaking on the Milky Way vs. Andromeda: When Galaxies Collide.
We will also have astronomy trivia during our intermission, so bring your thinking caps and your favorite trivia team!
