Join Astro on Tap NYC online as we celebrate Online Astronomy! That’s right – there’s plenty of astronomy to do online or with online access. We’ll take a tour through amateur, professional, and visualization tools that all kinds of astronomers use – and many that you can download and use yourself!
We’ll also be raising money for two causes:
- A fund that helps young astronomers from underrepresented groups get to important professional conferences.
- Tips for our friends who worked at the Way Station, which recently had to shut its doors forever. This was our home – the site of the very first Astro on Tap back in 2013, and a very sad moment for this beloved bar.
