On Friday July 31st at 8 pm the 2nd Astronomy on Tap Taipei event of 2020 will take place at Ooh Cha Cha! We have been on a 4 month hiatus because of the Covid-19 pandemic, but thanks to the wonderful way the Taiwanese government and people have responded to the virus, we can have in-person events again! We hope that the situation in Taiwan is an inspiration for other countries. Look at what you can do when you wear a mask, wash your hands, and listen to science!
We will have an “Astronomy in the News” update and will be doing a full science themed pub quiz, where you can win nice prizes! The theme of this AoT event will be the impressive annular solar eclipse that took place on June 21st.
