Astronomy on Tap Trenton | Black Holes and Building Galaxies
October 16 @ 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM EDT
We’re back, New Jersey! Astronomy on Tap is a series of world-wide events in which professional astronomers give informal talks at a local bar on topics of broad interest in astronomy and astrophysics. Each event consists of two 10-15 min talks, followed by questions and comments. Speakers will mingle with the audience between the two talks, and there will also be a trivia session with questions related to astronomy. At the end of the night prizes will be handed to the winners! Join us at Trenton Social every 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7pm for a fun night!
This month’s speakers are Zack Gelles (Princeton) and Christian Kragh Jespersen (Princeton), and will share with us about what we can learn from images of black holes and how to build a galaxy!
