Astronomy On Tap Champaign-Urbana: PYGMALION 2024

As part of The Pygmalion Festival, Astronomy On Tap Champaign-Urbana brings three 40-minute talks on the Universe from professors at the University of Illinois:
- Prof. Ben Hooberman, of the Department of Physics, will be speaking about the particular composition of the cosmos
- Prof. Leslie Looney, of the Department of Astronomy, will be speaking about the prospects of extraterrestrial life
- Prof. Helvi Witek, of the Department of Physics, will be speaking about gravitational waves and black holes
The festivities will conclude with interactive virtual reality demos presented by POINT VR!
