Astronomy on Tap Charlottesville: Planets, Asteroids, and Stars (oh my!)

Come join us on Monday, Sept 30th from 7-9pm at Firefly Restaurant & Game Room for a night of free astronomy talks, trivia, and prizes targeted at a general audience. We’ll have talks by professional astronomers from the University of Virginia on observing planets outside our Solar System with the James Webb Space Telescope, asteroid deflection techniques, and stellar explosions!
Firefly will be open on Monday starting at 5pm before our event. Stop by early for some dinner and drinks. The kitchen and bar will stay open all throughout the event as well!
Following the event, we will have telescopes set up to observe objects in the night sky (weather permitting of course)!
