Astronomy on Tap DC – January 23, 2023

Join us at DC9 Club on January 23, 2023 for Astronomy on Tap: Planetary Defense edition! We will hear about how to defend our planet from meteorites, highlighting NASA’s first successful demonstration of asteroid deflection from the DART mission. Our program will feature 3 JHU APL scientists who work in planetary defense: Andy Rivkin, Nancy Chabot, Carolyn Ernst.
