Join us for Astronomy on Tap NYC #143 – our 2024 Pride event, and the next in our monthly series at Pete’s Candy Store! Astronomy on Tap is fun and informative, with professional scientists and educators, plus games, prizes, and a bit of learning while drinking.
Celebrate pride month with AoT NYC. Our speakers this month are:
•Cara Giovanetti, NYU Physics grad student, will speak about cosmology.
•Ena Chia, CUNY Astro student, will speak about contributions to astronomy from queer astronomers.
Doors open at 6:45pm, talks start at 7pm SHARP. Arrive early to get your seats, grab a drink, and settle in for science talks, trivia, prizes, and fun!
