Astronomy on Tap Tucson #70: The JWST Special

Tucson’s local flavor of Astronomy on Tap, #SpaceDrafts, presents its 70th edition featuring astronomers Marcia Rieke, Charity Woodrum, and Raphael Hviding!
Next Generation Science from Next Generation Astronomers – Charity Woodrum and Raphael Hviding & The Biggest Telescope in Space and How We Built It – Marcia Rieke
On tap this month are Marcia Rieke, Charity Woodrum, and Raphael Hviding, all from Steward Observatory, telling us about building JWST and exciting next generation science it will enable.
The event is on November 16th at 7pm Pacific Time at the Borderlands Brewing Company (119 E. Toole Ave, Tucson AZ), outside on the patio with masks suggested. There will be telescopes on site provided by the wonderful UA Undergrad Astronomy Club, with masks required for viewing.
