Astronomy on Tap Tucson #73: Astro Unsolved Mysteries + JWST (again!)

February 15 @ 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM MST

Tucson’s local flavor of Astronomy on Tap, #SpaceDrafts, presents its 73rd edition featuring astronomers John Barentine and Kevin Hainline!

The Ashen Light of Venus: Astronomy’s Oldest Unsolved Mystery – John Barentine & JWST Update: From Launch to L2 – Kevin Hainline

We have an exciting night of astronomy planned! We’ll be joined by astronomer and author John Barentine telling us about the Ashen Light of Venus, a long-standing mystery in astronomy, and Kevin Hainline from Steward Observatory giving us a post-launch update on the James Webb Space Telescope.

We’ll be out on the patio of Borderlands Brewing Company at 7pm MST (119 E. Toole Ave, Tucson AZ), and in case you can’t make it in person, we’ll also be livestreaming at bit.ly/SpaceDrafts73!

Please click to RSVP on Facebook to help us with logistics. If you are interested in receiving notifications of any upcoming event directly in your inbox, please jot down your preferred contact email address through this link.

As always, Space Drafts is FREE and open to all ages! Bring your four-legged friends too!
