Astronomy on Tap NYC 159: Hot Physics

Join Astronomy on Tap NYC at Pioneer Works’ Second Sundays! We’ll be in the Science Studios from 2:30-4pm for Hot Physics with Daniel Burgess (Columbia U) and Andrea Bracamonte (CUNY), talking about plasma waves and solar flares. Cool off with a cold beverage and enjoy talks about some of the hottest phenomena in the Universe (hottest in temperature and every other definition of the word!) along with some fun games and trivia.

The whole event runs 12-6pm and features a whole variety of activities including our friends in the Amateur Astronomers Association. And it’s free! But you must RSVP.
