Hey you! Yes you! Do you love science? Are you a nerd for all things space-related? Are you drawn to magnificent coastal scenery? If yes to any, come join us for Astronomy on Tap in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada! Enjoy food and drinks and fun science talks by professional scientists and astronomers!
Astro on Tap Victoria features local astronomers, instrument scientists, staff, students, and more from all over Vancouver Island. We primarily feature professionals and academics from the University of Victoria, NRC Herzberg, and other local space science organizations. Talks are intended for the general public and are both short and jargon-free. Afterwards, show off what you learned with some space-themed trivia!
We host our events every few months at The Vicious Poodle in downtown Victoria. Keep an eye on our social media pages for the most up-to-date information. If you have any questions about our events, or would like to be a speaker yourself, feel free to reach out to us with the contact info below!
