Astronomy on Tap Portsmouth; 23rd May 2017

Astronomy on Tap – Portsmouth, UK returns with a fun filled evening on Gravitational Lensing. Come and join us from 7PM on Tuesday 23rd May 2017 at the Kings Pub, Albert Road, Southsea. We have talks by two scientists in the field: “Gravity Goggles” by PhD Researcher, Matt Withers and “Seeing Double” by Dr Tom Collett.

Doors open at 7PM with the first talk starting at 7:30PM. There will be a quiz with some space-themed prizes to be won, and many real-life astronomers to meet and ask all those burning questions!

We have talks by two researchers in the field: “What Happens at the Event Horizon” by PhD Researcher, Ben Bose and “The First Supermassive Black Holes” by Dr. Daniel Whalen.
