AoT Las Vegas – The Horrors of Black Holes

Join Astronomy on Tap Las Vegas for for a Halloween-themed event! UNLV astrophysicists Carl-Johan Haster and Margaret Johnston will be talking about the horrors of black holes, and all of the ways they make the universe a little bit spookier! The event takes place at Astronomy Aleworks and begins on Thursday, October 27th at 7 pm for ages 21+ only.

Tickets are required for this event and can be reserved for free using EventBrite starting October 16th.

AoT Las Vegas consists of researchers from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. We research a wide range of topics, from black holes to exoplanets. We partner with Astronomy Aleworks in Henderson to bring outer space to the public and have them compete in space-themed trivia (with prizes!) Prepare for trivia questions ranging from science to science history to sci-fi. No prior knowledge is needed to participate in Astronomy on Tap, so come on down and learn a bit more about the universe!
