Astronomy on Tap Maastricht returns with its second event! Anyone who’s interested in astronomy and physics is welcome to join us at Harvey Kitchen & Bar from 19:00 – 21:00 CEST.

This time around, we will have two lecturers from the Maastricht Science Programme (MSP) giving a presentation on observations in astronomy at different scales. With Chad Ellington aiming to present a topic on the planetary scale, while Dr. Reverberi aims to present a topic that concerns the comsological scale of the universe. Additionally, our third presenter, Kai, is an MSP alumni that has just finished his master’s in astrophysics. His topic of presentation is the topic of gravitational wave detection and its uses in multi-messenger astronomy.

Entrance is free and open for everyone. Snacks and drinks can be ordered as well. The only requirement for the entrance is the filling of the registration form (link can be found in the biography of our instagram page). We hope to see you there!
