AoT State College #57

Join us for another installment of Astronomy on Tap: State College. We’ll be at Happy Valley Brewing Company on Tuesday, July 26 from 6-8 pm (but arrive early to grab some great food and beer). This month’s theme is pastronomy (past + astronomy)! Chris Palma will cover the history of astronomy at Penn State in “The Origins of Astronomy at Penn State,” and our very own AoT host Arvind Gupta will present a historical overview of how we have understood the universe in “Discovering the Scale of the Universe.” We will also have our usual trivia and astronomy in the news.
