This month marks our 125th event!!! And we’re celebrating Pride Month and everyone in the LGBTQIA+ community – we see you, we hear you, we know you as colleagues and friends! And we’ll have talks about just how gay space is (hint: it’s SO VERY gay), and paying homage to all the queer folx who have paved, and are paving, the way for the current state of space travel and exploration. Presenting will be:
•Kaitlin Schmidt, educator at the American Museum of Natural History
•Melize Ferrus, astrophysicist at the Flatiron Institute
•and co-host, MC Tycho Brewhaha!
Rainbow outfits are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED!
