Astro On Tap – Seattle: Astronomy Adventures

First, Dr. Emily Levesque will start the evening off with storytelling and science that will take you on a sweeping behind-the-scenes tour of today’s most exciting astronomical discoveries, introduce you to the people who make them, and explore the evolving world of professional stargazing. Then we have Dr. Huangyu Xiao will continue with the adventurous theme and tell us about possible astrophysical and cosmological events that can be deadly!

Each FREE Astronomy on Tap event features accessible, engaging science presentations on topics ranging from planets to black holes to the beginning of the Universe. Most events have games and prizes to test and reward your new-found knowledge! There is always lots of time to ask questions and interact with the presenters and other scientists who inevitably stick around for the beer.
