Astro on Tap SLC: Chandra’s 25th Anniversary

Astronomy on Tap SLC is back on July 11 at HK Brewing. Doors open at 7pm with talks starting at 7:15pm. This event will feature two fascinating talks by the University of Utah’s Samantha Creech and Ekta Patel. The two ~15 minute talks will give an overview of the Chandra X-ray Telescope’s 25 years in service and will also discuss how to rewind the orbits of nearby galaxies!
What is Astronomy on Tap? AoT is a free community event featuring accessible, engaging science presentations on space and science topics ranging from planets to black holes to galaxies to the beginning of the Universe!
