Astronomy on Tap Albuquerque: Poetry, the CMB, and You!

Join us for two talks! First, Brandon Barker (NSF Graduate Research Assistant, Los Alamos National Lab) will tell us about stellar lifecycles with old poetry as our guide. Now that’s what I call a light-motif! Then, Ian Birdwell (Graduate Research Assistant, University of New Mexico) will tell us about the Cosmic Microwave Background, how we observe it, and what we can learn from it! Trivia intermission as usual, with fabulous prizes; come on out!
