Join us in-person for the January edition of Astronomy on Tap! As always, we’ll have games, raffles, glow sticks, swag, and space-themed drinks. (We’ll also livestream on our YouTube channel.)

Ron Pagano, an LSU graduate student, will tell us how quantum noise affects gravitational wave detectors, and what scientists can do about it.
Eric Borowski, an LSU graduate student, will explain how professional astronomers and amateur stargazers can participate in variable star astronomy.
