Astronomy on Tap – Baton Rouge (June 2022)

Join us in-person for the June edition of Astronomy on Tap! As always, we’ll have games, raffles, glow sticks, swag, and space-themed drinks. (We’ll also livestream on our YouTube channel.)

  • Dr. Manos Chatzopoulos, an LSU astronomy professor, is going to tell us all about cosmic fireworks (like supernovae and stellar mergers) and how astronomers study their properties.
  • Dr. Rob Hynes, an LSU astronomy professor, will talk about how astronomers can “see” black holes—despite them being invisible.

Science is Even Better with Beer.
