We’re switching things up this month:
- First we’ll hear from Kameron Sullivan, an LSU graduate student, about LIGO’s major discoveries. From the detection of the first gravitational wave to the birth of the field of multi-messenger astronomy, LIGO continues to push the envelope and remain on the cutting edge.
- Then we’ll have a Halloween-themed game night. Activities will include trivia, games, and a costume contest! We will also have space-themed drinks, raffles, and free glow sticks.
Bring your best costume and join us for a spooky edition of Astronomy on Tap.
