Astronomy on Tap Charlottesville: From Gravitational Waves to Eclipses

Come join us on Tuesday, September 19th from 7-9pm at Three Notch’d Craft Kitchen & Brewery for a night of free astronomy talks, trivia, and prizes targeted at a general audience. We’ll have talks by professional astronomers from the University of Virginia and the NRAO on the recent NANOGrav gravitational waves detection, the upcoming annular and total solar eclipses and simulations in astronomy!
Following the event, we will have telescopes set up to observe objects in the night sky (weather permitting of course)!
