We invite you to our April event — coming up next week on Thursday, 21st April, from 6-8pm at Sudwerk Brewing Co.! Since the event is in-person, Covid-19 vaccination and indoor masking will be required.
We’re honoured to present two wonderful talks by a senior undergrad and a 5th-year Ph.D. student, both studying astrophysics at UC Davis:
Chloe Neufeld will talk about Cosmic Dawn, and how we study the first galaxies that ever formed in the Universe!
Daniel Polin will discuss satellite constellations like Starlink and the impact they are having on astronomy research!
As always, there will be prizes for trivia and a raffle. Help us spread the word by inviting your family, friends, and colleagues for a fun evening of astronomy and beer!
